Beautifully soft peach and apricot body with an immensely dense, rocky, and creamy white head. Excellent aroma of sharp citrus and grapefruit; some hazy dankness lingering about. Warm and toasty base grain flavor supporting an acidic citrus taste; bread crust; grapefruit; tangerine pith; bitter. Heavy body; creamy with biting acidic notes; sharp; overall dry despite its juicy and citrus qualities.

This is one fine looking beer. The other qualities also come across as nicely done.

Soft thick haze of the peach flesh variety. Visually this is just what I think of when I think the current trend. It's not my jam, but it's pretty classically hazy. Thin dusting of white head that accumulates at the edges and leaves a nice sticky lacing.

Nose has elements of soft stone fruit and citrus, but more the blood orange/kumquat side of citrus rather than the pithy grapefruit side. Some faint grassiness to be found as well.

Flavour is soft with some light juiciness carried across to a mildly citrus and earthy bitter finish. The bitterness sneaks up on you and builds through the finish from sip to sip.

Body has a nice billowing supporting effervescence, but it's pretty thin and dry and has that almost chalky character I get with a lot of the well regarded hazies, so I dunno maybe folks will find that a plus, but it's not my preference. The finish is lingeringly bitter and I dig it. I would never guess this was 7%. Alcohol is almost dangerously hidden.

Overall I see this as a perfectly cromulent hazy. It's got some elements that rival (or at least bring to mind) some of the highly regarded hazies I've tried, and there's plenty to enjoy even for those of us who never got their ticket to the haze train, but there's also definitely elements where I find myself going, "yes, but..."
Supports a good cause and, especially if you're into the style well worth at least trying, but I've had better examples of the style around town.

16oz can served in a nonic glass. Pkgd on 05/12/20.

Look- Hazy golden orange color. A decent off-white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin cap of foam, solid lacing. Light carbonation streams visible.

Smell- Citrus (orange/tangerine, grapefruit and lemon), apricot, tropical fruit (pineapple and papaya), some grainy malt, faint pine and white pepper, other spicy/floral notes.

Taste- Similar to the aroma but muted, citrus and tropical fruit apricot, grainy malt, distinct peppery notes, fairly bitter back end. Pretty nice.

Feel- Lighter side of medium bodied, a bit watery honestly, fairly crisp finish. Medium carbonation on the tongue.

O- Compared to the Reubens version this is a bit lack luster. Still solid but could have been better.
