This is claimed to be an American IPA but this one leans toward the east. Color is hazy amber with plenty of foam in the chalice. Pleasantly slushy carbonation and a medium malty body. Inviting grapefruit aroma. Modest bit of sweetness to start. Darkly fruity flavors with notes of mango, papaya, and then a grapefruit peel takeover. Astringent finish and quite bitter after just a few sips. Gotta be a tough lady to like this one. From the 32 oz crowler can filled at Brews Almighty in Everett.
