Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can and pouring into my snifter. Date stamp is 10/2022.
The beer pours a rich coffee brown color with a fluffy beige head of 4.5 cm that almost overtops my glass. The foam fades pretty quickly leaving some frothy bubbles and finally the thinnest of edge layers.
Aroma on this beer is toasted wheat bread, dark cocoa powder, some husky nuttiness and roasted malt. No ABV and hops dont really show here.
First sip reveals a medium body and smooth texture. Very fine tingly carbonation on this beer.
Flavor is roasted malt dominant with a bit of dark bakers chocolate, a little chalky flavor and the roast lingers on the finish. Never any hop profile to speak of and the pecans dont show up in the flavor profile.
Beer is smooth and easy drinking. I enjoy it, wish the nuts came through a little more.
