I had this beer on-tap in a Willi Becher glass at Postdoc’s brewery in Redmond.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: a really nice citrus and mango tropical hop aroma atop a mild sweetness. Pretty good!
Taste: lightly sweet malt with a grapefruit peel character and a mild bitterness, with kind of a touch of hop burn. Not bad!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty solid hazy pale. Maybe a little on the bitter side, but the flavor is nice. I wouldn’t have guessed off hand that this was a kveik beer.
