My local grocery store has had several Strange Land's beers for sale. I have enjoyed them all, but I think this is my least favorite. The beer is a dark brown with a thick, creamy head. Dark fruit and malty taste. But the taste is a bit subdued for the style.

Smoky phenolic is strong in this one.

Keg had not had time to settle, and the beer was a yeasty mess. May need to revisit.
