Looks pale and anemic, but that's fine for a pis. Smells like grass and shampoo. Tastes... poor. Red bell peppers and Splenda suspended in seltzer, seriously, that's what it tastes like. Far too sweet, the off-putting cloyingness lingering on. Crisp bubbles on the tongue, at least, which I like but some may find excessive.
Maybe I'm ignorant but this doesn't scream "pilsner" to me.

Pours a hazy gold. No head and lacing. Has a malty lemon smell. Moderate carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel and taste. Sweet and decently hopped. A good option on a warm afternoon.

Over a enjoyable beer, but not a good representation of a Pilsner.

Pours out cloudy pale straw in color. The head is white with decent retention. Lacing is minimal. There is a bit here and there around the glass.
The nose is sour up front. I do get grains but the lemony cucumber smell dominates. Floral hops makes an appearance as well. Very aromatic non the less just a bit odd.
Floral hops bitterness in the taste and again watered down it seems. Grains are there as well a lemon grass in the finish.
Mouthfeel light to medium bodied and under carbonated. Feels flat.
Pour out of a can.

$1.08 for a draught pour at Hat Creek Burger Company, Austin, TX.
Has more body than your typical pilsner, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Pilsner malt, odd metallic off-flavour (probably an unclean tap line?), floral hops. I imagine the hops used are American given the lack of grassiness or any obvious Noble hop character.
Overcarbonated - almost sharply so. Unrefreshing as a result. Slightly dry, inexplicably.
There is a lot wrong with this pilsner and I reckon it might be one of Strange Land's furthest-off-the-mark beers. Drinks like a mediocre American pale lager but it's drinkable. The overcarbonation is the biggest issue, but the metallic off-flavour is up there too. I'll stick to Warsteiner or Pilsner Urquell when stateside.

Grabbed a 6 pack of cans when the store was out of another pilsner. The beer is immediately off-putting upon opening. It tasted incredibly similar to Bud Light, along with the rest of the characteristics. I truly hope this is not representitve of other Strange Lands beers. It's hard to imagine ever having another after two from the sixer.
