On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black, with not much head or lacing.
This smells like delicious and slightly sweet toasted coconut, creamy vanilla, fudgy chocolate, and oak.
This was in Buffalo Trace barrels for 6 months. There's not a ton of barrel character here- basically no bourbon, but a nice smooth oak character. The "adjuncts" shine super well here, as it's delicious coconut bomb- like toasted coconut-studded fudge, with a creamy vanilla finish. It's pretty sweet, but never gets cloying at all.
This is creamy, not super thick, but definitely not thin. It's substantial enough. There's not a ton of carbonation.
This is really excellent, and quite decadent.
