This beer pours a super cloudy yellow orange color with a three finger, soapy, sudsy, dense bright white head. Retention is excellent and there are many rings and patches of lacing left all over the glass.
Smell is very bright. Orange, lemon, white grape, green herbalness and mango leap out of the glass.
Taste is similar, but the grape and herbalness are the stars of the show and the citrus and mango take a back seat. The finish is mildly bitter.
Feel is light side of medium, soft and very smooth. Moderate carbonation with a slight prickle on the finish.
Overall this is an excellent beer. It reminds me of Treehouse Eureka, but I think this one is better. There are many nelson hopped beers that I am not a fan of due to the extreme grape flavor, but this one is very well rounded and complex.
