This beer pours a hazy bright yellow color with a massive, dense frothy white head. Retention is excellent and there are chunky rings of lacing left all over the glass.
Smell is is bright and complex. Berry, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, mango, pine and earthiness are all present.
Taste is the same. It starts off fruity, but the pine and earthiness come into play mid sip and give the beer a little more complexity. Suprisingly though, they do not add much bitterness.
Feel is light and smooth, but lacking in the carbonation department. If it was more soft and juicy it would work as an example of the NE style, but it really doesn't come across that way. Instead it seems a touch thin.
Overall this is a very good beer with excellent hop flavors. I wish there was a touch more carbonation, but it is not offensively low by any means.
