Updating my review after consumption of batch 2 (canned batch)
This beer pours a super hazy golden honey color with a 2 finger frothy white head. Retention is phenomenal and there are tons of sticky webs of lacing left all over the glass.
The smell is bright and juicy orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, and a touch of citrus pith. Much more potent than the original batch.
Taste is similar, with the lactose showing and nicely rounding things out. Much less bitter than the original.
Feel is medium, creamy and smooth. Very soft with a slight tickle from the carbonation and bitterness on the finish. This is the area improved the most on batch 2. The original was much more prickly and sticky. The lactose really made a big difference in smoothing this out. The original reminded me of a resinous west coast IPA, whereas this is much more similar to any number of the soft creamy lactose beers that Other Half releases.
Overall this is an excellent beer and I'm kicking myself for only grabbing a 4 pack. After having the first draft only batch, I thought it was well below the insanely high standard that Prison City has set for themselves, but they really dialed this 2nd batch in. Top fucking notch.

Collab with Barrier. Solid IPA but not nearly as good as some of Prison City's others.
