Got together with my siblings and cousins in Syracuse, NY this past week and this beer found its way into my cooler at the end of the week. I didn't buy this one but I remembered Auburn NY as the home of the early model prison from my college criminal justice classes. Pours a big creamy head and a neon yellow body that has a definite opacity. Nose is heavily tropical with a touch of resin and bread note. Flavor is big n the medicinal hops with tropical and citrus notes playing a supporting part. Definitely has a aftertaste full of resin but also a hit of soapiness. Still, tons of flavor for an APA, this is more a moderately abved NEIPA, but just one man's opinion.

Had on tap at PC Farm. Very nice low alc pale ale. Beautiful in the glass… full creamy head; soft yellow haze/ no mud dunes; nice lacing.
Light nose but still full of tropical fruit and light dank. Inviting.
Restrained taste. Tasty citrus as with nose, touch of dank… hints of peach. Not pushy ; just tasty.
Smooth refreshing sipper.
Overall a very nice pale ale. Enjoyed and don’t think I’d tire of it. Would love a sixtel in my kegerator.
