No legible dating, but guessing from various sources that this is 4-5 weeks old. Let sit out for 15 minutes before opening.
Moderately hazy orangey-gold , with 2+ fingers of ivory head, that fades to a thick ring, some surface sheeting, and a few spots of lacing.
Smell is orange rind, pineapple , and hints of creamsicle, triple sec, mango and papaya.
Taste is dank, slightly solventy, resinous pine, candied orange rind, sweet grapefruit, and a touch of biscuity malt. Light bitterness and sweetness.
Feel is juicy, initially lightly creamy, followed by moderate, semi-soft, carbonation tingle.
Overall enjoyable, and dangerously easy-drinking. Had the first two 2-3 weeks ago, and colder. Then, the "dank" was leaning to "stank" , and detracted a bit. Seems to have hit the sweet spot tonight , so recommend letting it age slightly, if fresh, and letting it warm to 55F +/-. I.e., treat it like a stout, for best effect.

Two inches of lemon-white head form a tight foam that lasts a while before settling at one-quarter inch. Random sticky lace clings to a Spieglau IIPA glass. The IPA is opaque and hazy gold to mango (SRM 4-5), with lighter highlights.
The aroma is strong with sweet mango and orange. Modest pine follows, eventually adding earthy notes. This one is very fresh and succulent.
Quite bitter, though somewhat mild for an IIPA. Flavor generally follows the nose, though with an emphasis on pine straw. Sweetness is high and bitterness is more prominent than in the aroma. Light tartness adds a fair amount of acidity. A long, modest finish completely fades before each sip. Light grapefruit comes out with warmth and continues the theme of freshness.
Alcohol is as expected without any warming sensation. A soft, plush texture works well with the full body and modest carbonation. Astringency builds with warmth.
The initial, and first third of this beer, is very enjoyable and could easily be called an Imperial NEIPA. However, warmth draws out a harshness that is more akin to the West Coast variants of this style.
