Everyone likes working with their friends, especially when it comes to making delicious beer! Our friends from Lawson’s Finest Liquids helped us make this fantastically drinkable IPA using New York Vista Hops, New Zealand Motueka Hops, and Eclipse Hops to create a unique balance of floral and pine with some pineapple on the palate. At 8% alcohol this beer will certainly sneak up on you as its smooth flavor entices another sip.

Canned on: ???????

A - Extremely hazy pour that's borderline opaque and medium golden tan in color with a dense, one finger thick bright white creamy layer of foam resting on top.

S - Light juicy floral, pineapple, tropical fruit, pear, and citrus.

T - Citrus, underlying melon, pineapple, grapefruit, some tropical fruit, and ends with an aggressive pine bitterness that lingers on the palate for a good long time after the sip. Underneath the bitterness is some nice resiny tropical fruit and citrus lingering underneath.

M - Soft medium body with some chewiness and light prickly carbonation.

O - This is a unique one and quite enjoyable.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells mainly melony, with lemon lime, orange, and grapefruit.

This is definitely two breweries who feel like birds of a feather, and this is a good example of what they both do well. It’s New England IPA adjacent, but with a healthy little bitterness to it. There’s stone fruit and melon mainly, without the huge exotic tropical punch that I would expect from Motueka. I do get some lime or lemon peel sort of pithiness, and grapefruit, and a nice piney little bitterness.

This is medium bodied, with a nice crisp bite on the finish.

I’m always going to be in for a collaboration between these two breweries – the Phish reference is just icing on the cake.
