Our Kölsch is a crisp, lager-like beer fermented on the cooler side of ale temperatures. It features a blend of German-grown Hallertau Blanc and Oregon-grown Crystal hops for a modern twist on this classic session beer. Pröst!

Purchased at my local grocery store. Canned on August 10, 2023 (I really don’t care about freshness as long as the beer is in cold storage).
Look: Light, bright, clear yellow. Lots of head. 4.5
Smell: Light and grainy. Decent enough. 3
Taste: Starts off malty and finishes with a good bitterness. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing. 4
Feel: This is what kinda kills the beer for me. Very thin in the mouth. Terrible. 1.75
Overall: I am not a Kölsch fan but I found this beer to be enjoyable besides the poor in mouth feel. This is one that I would recommend to macro drinkers and lager fans.

There are a lot of great places to enjoy a cold one. On a boat in the middle of Lake Tahoe is near the top. Alibi Ale Works created a refreshing, sweet kolsch that is brewed with fresh water from the lake. A beer you could sit back, relax, and enjoy. Always best served ice cold.

On tap. Appearance is a golden color with no head. Smells of grass. Thin feel. Taste is clean, with some cereal grains and hop bitterness on the finish. Overall, a decent refreshing beer for a hot day, but it doesn't have the white pillowy head or the fruitiness I associate with the style.
