Had this after a day of skiing at Mt. Rose at the Pinon Bottle Shop/Bar in Sparks right when they opened. Had the place to myself, bartender seemed cool. Beer hit the spot. Just added the beer to the database, and I'm gonna write a review because I'm not some total sociopath who just adds the beer but doesn't write a review.
Pours yellow, no surprises in pilsner land so far. 1/2" white head on top of a beer w decent clarity. The aroma was yielding a lager yeast, but also the Moteuka hop, which might be off the beaten path pilsner wise, but works better in execution that it does on paper.
Taste reveals this to almost be an IPL. The hopping is a line stepper. But its done well, and I liked it. You get a good mixture of lager yeast, pilsner malt and Moteuka hops. Not really sure about that commercial tug job regarding it tasting like "lime" but no biggie, I still liked it.
Alibi does good stuff, this is no exception. I should prolly buy their packaged beer more often instead of mostly just having their stuff when I'm in Reno beer bars.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
