one of the mr. tartacular series sours, enjoyed on tap, passion fruit, peaches, and plums in this, a cool and uncommon combination, love the tropical but also the orchard fruit together, not too sour to be drinkable either. hazy and medium orange, sort of looks like peach nectar in the glass, a little viscosity and not super clean, but the bubbles and head bring it the life it needs visually. aroma is awesome, mouthwatering with the clean sourness and the passion fruit twang evident right away, some lemon and white wine tartness too before they give way to sweeter peach and apricot character, not sure the plum is real robust in the nose, but that is unsurprising with these other fruits. some grain keeping it beery, cereal forward maybe wheaty, some middle sweetness with it, fairly clean overall, and the flavor follows. lots of peach and passion in this, less plum but it is there, some tannins and added tang from its skins too. fuller bodied and smooth and i like what the malt contributes to this, its not just juice. notes of lemon and lime late, tropical cocktail, and lightly toasted bread. good carbonation pushing through the body, and overall a fun summery drink that makes winter feel less fierce for a bit. cool beer, fun series it looks like, ill be on the lookout for more of them...

On tap at their Truckee location. Seriously fruity and properly sour/tart. Well done.
