On tap at Blu Wolf Bistro in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly murky brown, with no head or lacing.
Smells like bourbon, chocolate, dark fruit, toffee, oak and vanilla.
This tastes pretty excellent. The bourbon comes through quite strongly, warm, slightly nutty, and slightly fruity, with a boozy kick at the end. The malt character on this one is quite nice too, dark fruit, pecans, chocolate, toffee, and some caramel. There's a tiny bit of smokiness.
This is medium bodied, with a slightly lower level of carbonation, and a rich mouthfeel.
A really cool barrel aged beer here, everything worked well.
