Pours a clean golden color, with a huge, froth head.
Smells of pleasantly leafy, herbal hops, with a touch of exotic fruits underneath, building the perfect gateway for including bready malts, which got a nice crackery quality to them. Rosemary is very profound on the nose, together with tomatoe bush and a sweet toffee peak, cutting through the noble qualities of the hops.
Has a lively carbonation, while producing a nice hop presence during the finish, gently accompanied by the soft, bubbly carbonation, dashing over the palate, while the beer remains easy drinkable.
Begins with sweeter toffee malts and sandy wheat, accompanied by an aqueous quality and dough. The beer uses just the right amount of malts though, by providing a gentle bread foundation, blending into utmost herbal, tingling hops, without becoming too sweet or too one dimensional, which would be a typical characteristic for the industrial examples of this style. Hops not only provide a nice, noteable presence, but also evolve a tropical undertone beneath its classic appearance, producing a fruity note, which creates a perfumy melange, without denying its origin. Finishes pleasantly dry, with a coppery whiff among soft white bread.
This is a fantastic example of how a well made Pils should taste. It features all its qualities in the best way possible and goes beyond. This is mainly due to its unusual hop profile, which is crisp, dry and also pleasantly fruity. At the same time this doesn't turn into an overhopped ipa but adds an additional, well working feature, while respecting the style.

5 months before sell-by-date.
33cl long neck bottle, poured in a pils glass.
Like a good pils, has lots of carbonation -- a brisk pour and leaving it settle a wee bit works well. Frothy head. Fades with lacing. Quite a deep, almost amber yellow.
Smell: malty, concentrated, alcoholic, spicey even -- unusual for a pils.
Mouthfeel is almost viscous, thick, smooth, oily, with light-prickly carbonation. Reminiscent of Rothaus Tannenzäpfle pils, but thicker.
Taste is first malty, the hops -- slightly marmaladey, concentrated -- come through in the finish along with alcohol and good bitterness.
Could do with something more citrusy to balance out the thick mouthfeel and the alcohol. But it *is* a good beer: untypical in ways for a pils -- especially the alcohol at 5.3% with a strong presence.
