From the bottle, it pours a clear, deep, brown with reddish tones and a modest, slowly reducing light tan head. The scent is roasted and burnt malts, overwhelming other scent to me. The taste is similar, with a sweetish malt base.

Pours a deep black color with a medium top of beige head that dissolves in normal pace. Aroma is of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, cherries and smoke.
The flavour is dark roasted with notes of coffee and dark chocolate, while is balanced nicely with some slight sweetness and notes of cherries in the front. The finish is has a nice medium bitterness while in the back the roasted and malty notes lingers heavily, and the aftertaste has good lenght. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a medium carbonation and a medium body. Goes down amazingly well.
A very good schwarzbier.

The colour is black with a deep brown edge; the three fingers head is compact and beige. It is firm and sinks very slowly leaving thick lacing on the glass.
The smell is smooth with distinct roasted flavours. Some fruity sweetness, black currants and a hint of raspberries.
The taste starts with charcoal and ripe red berries. It is creamy and rather dry. Dark chocolate, some coffee and clean bitterness. Light to medium body. The aftertaste got more creamy dark malty flavours, liquorice and a light yet rough bitterness. Burned cereals and some fruit-flavoured candy in the smooth finish.
The carbonation is strong, the many mid-sized bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
An elegant and smooth schwartzbier with stronger bitterness than the traditional ones. Complex and refreshing.

L: Dark dark brown beer, little head, not to many bubbles
S: Toasted malts, bitter hops, toast, coffee grinds, metallicy smell
T: Good balance between hops and malt, definitely more malty with the toasty flavor coming through and just getting a slight hint of the earthy bitter hops
F: Smooth beer, good carbonation
O: Nice beer to end the day, a good mix between the strong heavy flavor but it not being to heavy. Haven't had to many Schwarzbier's but would imagine this being above average.

Pours a beautiful, vibrant black-ember color, with a big, fluffy beige head on top.
Has a nice, toffee coated roastiness to it, together with a note of bakers chocolate and a smoky whiff. Smokiness becomes more present as the beer warms up, coated up by earthen malts and a lactic sweetness.
Has a medium carbonation, which turns softer, the longer the beer is on the tongue, finishing very creamy among a rich maltiness.
Tastes of earth and a profound toffee quality, gently balanced by milk chocolate and toasty malts. Toffee turns even more distinct, as a whiff of molasses and rock sugar become recognizable, mainly balanced by the earthen softness, creating a great mouthfeel. During its finish, the beer reveals a cold pressed coffee undertone, establishing a balancing, dry element, while adding to the already established sweetness at the same time, ending with a good amount of whipped cream among roasty malts and a slightly sour acidity, wrapped up by earth.
Very complex for its abv, with a fantastic, utmost smooth mouthfeel to it, creating a noteable roast note, which at no point is over the top, but blends gently into the beers sweeter qualities.
