Pours a hazy, deep golden coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and tropical/citrus fruit notes, with orange and pineapple standing out. Taste follows the nose, with biscuity, slightly caramelly malt up front and some citrus/tropical notes of grapefruit, orange, mango and pineapple, as well as just a hint of floral, herbal and resinous notes. Finishes bittersweet, with a light bitterness and some tropical notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A decent IPA that is a little too sweet and heavy on the pineapple for my personal taste, with not quite enough bitterness or herbal/resinous notes for balance. It's not a bad beer, but a little unbalanced.
