Huge overflowing head after each pour—it takes several pours from the 330 ml (12 ounce) bottle to get all of the liquid. The bubbles are large and fills more than 3/4 of the glass each time. It settles in a lumpy fashion. The liquid itself is a muddy gold. Very hazy. Some 3D spots on the glass for lace.
The smell is a bit musty with a touch of earthiness. Very mild hop behind the pale malted grain aroma.
The body is appropriate and the carbonation is very high. The initial sip with the beer in my mouth has a very good pale malt flavor. The hop is on the lower side. There’s also a bit of raw barley to the taste. It’s a bit harsh in the swallow but not bitter.
