Nitro at brewery:
Nitro look works here… looks are kind of a 0 or 4+ given the pour type. Lacing has strata, but is pretty solid. I had to let this warm to judge, and…
It is a lighter style and ABV, but I feel there is room to let the malt come through in this style. It’s somewhat the antithesis of what I feel about big stouts - that a little bit of under-attenuation works for milds. More likely is that a brewer might need richer (more expensive?) malts to do a proper malty beer?
Sorry to pontificate in a review, but this is a bit of a weak “tea” brew - with all the tannins tea brings that I’d rather not be there at the levels I am perceiving.

Had on tap at the brewery in Purcellville, VA. 16 oz nitro pour. Beautiful cascading nitro action in the glass. It's barely watery, which is not bad given the 3.5% abv. Dark roasted malt, hints of vanilla and cocoa, light hops (Fuggle?). Solid.
