Right-O-Way IPA is brewed as a Session India Pale Ale with citrusy hops and floral aromas. These flavors, with the addition of lightly kilned malts and moderate hop bitterness, make Right-O-Way a refreshing and easy drinking beer. The sessionable 4.6% abv makes this one of the “easier” beers we’ve ever made. Enjoy it in your favorite glass or straight out of the bottle. Either way, make it Right-O-Way.

Taste: smooth, gentle, rye, mild hop, dry finish. Mix of malt and hops on the nose. Amber hue, mostly clear, with a tan head and delicate lace. Medium body. Easy drinker. Had years ago.

SOUTHERN TIER RIGHT-O-WAY IPA 7/2/16
From the Pack O' Pales twelvepack.
Poured from the 12 oz. bottle into a Samuel Adams IPA glass.
a: Clear dark gold/amber with an inch thick white head which receded to thin surface foam and spotty lacing,
s; Nothing notable.
t; Mainly biscuit malt with a mild to moderate hop bite with no especially obvious flavor. Dry finish.
m: Medium, good body and carbonation tingle.
o: A pleasant dinner brew, substantial yet refreshing and easy drinking. Those for whom highly hopped IPAs are too bitter are likely to find this one agreeable.

Pours a pale copper color with a short creamy head. Left a short wall of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is a light grapefruit and pine hop. A bit soapy.
The taste is of a light grapefruit and grapefruit rind. Some general fruitiness and a hint of pine.
The feel is light almost watery. Fizzy carbonation. It's dry on the palate and lightly bitter.
Nice light hop flavor. A bit too light both in flavor and body.

Appearance: Very attractive rich rose gold color, thick white cap, very good lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, floral and conifer hops, underlying malt presence.
Taste: Hops first followed by mild malt presence. Good medium to full texture in a pleasing way. I don't detect sweetness but there a rich malt presence. Hops follow through and linger in the aftertaste which, while crisp, is clean with little hop bitterness. Well put together, this.
Texture: Medium full.
Overall: A lot to like and little to criticize, well, perhaps critical is too strong a word because the closest to negative I can come is say I would've liked a bit more pronounced malt presence. Fits the IPA model but so do a lot of others.
