For us, good living means exploring. It’s the pioneer impulse that is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it was our Founders Phin and Sara traveling across our region to hand-deliver beer or our constant pursuit to craft the best in flavor, we have always thrived on curiosity and pushing the boundaries of brewing discovery.

Pours pale yellow. Light citrus aroma. Light bitter body followed by a sweet tart finish. Crisp and easy drinking. Pleasantly surprised. A really excellent brew.

On tap at Southern Tier Brewing Company in Lakewood, NY.

This one pours a clear light yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemony hops, grassy hops, biscuit malt, flowers, and light citrus.

This is obviously not anything that is meant to blow your hair back, but it does its job for sure - it's a very easy drinking IPA meant for multiple-can-consumption. It's got a little bit of malt character, some lemony and floral hops, and just a hint of juicy/citrusy hop character.

This is light bodied, clean, and very crisp, with a pretty solid drinkability.

This is a bit better than I thought it was going to be. I'd probably order it again.

Pours clear, caution light yellow in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is guava, lemon and pilsner malt. Light bodied, slightly bitter with high carbonation. Easy to pund, good ipa. Surprisingly very tasty. Will get this again.

From an aluminum can, this brew is a pale yellow, lightly hazed, white-headed liquid. The aroma is faint, with a little grain and distant fruit. The taste is nice...well balanced with a tough of malty sweetness and a firm bitterness. It isn’t overpowering, but nicely balanced. I miss ales like this. Satisfying.

12oz can into a pint glass. Best by 6/16/21, so very fresh.

Looks okay in the glass. Very faintly hazy yellow body. Small white head shrinks to a faint ring, no lacing.

Faintly musty mixed fruit aroma.

On tasting, fair amount going on. Some mango, a little citrus, whisper of pepper. There are times when it feels a little veggie. All flavors are muted, but the overall taste is quite good.

Mouth medium, finish generic fruit.

Overall, nice enough beer, quite tasty for the low abv. Would be nice in the warmer months.

BB date : 6/8/21 Let sit out for 6-8 minutes, before opening.

Almost-clear , medium gold (about the look of a normal pils) , with 1.5 fingers of coarse, off-white head, that leaves 1"4 ring, a spotty surface layer of foam, and a few spots of lacing.

Aroma is light pineapple, white grape, sweetish red grapefruit, tangerine , with maybe a hint of mango & kiwi. Smells pretty good, inviting a drink.

Taste is grapefruit, tangerine, dried lemon rind, with a bit of something that goes back and forth between slightly catty pine and green onion. The flavor is less sweet than the aroma, and also has less depth. Still, it's enjoyable, with nothing that detracts . Moderate bitterness.

Feel is light, smooth, initially slightly watery, with moderate very fine carbonation bite on the latter half, and lingering awhile past finish.

Overall, a decent , enjoyable session IPA. Better than most I've had of that type, with no flaws that detract from the experience. I can see getting this on a semi-regular basis, especially during the heat of summer. Worth a try if you're looking for this sort of thing.
