(review from January 2025) Well balanced ipa with good mouthfeel; medium hoppiness & more than the new SN Tropical ipa; a subtle citrusy/fruity/mango-ey/passion fruity/tropical flavor and a clean, quick-fading aftertaste. Very quaffable.

12 oz can with a Best By date this week.
Lively high carbonation gives rise to a fine white head that leaves the glass well coated with lacing.
Tropical fruit notes, mainly citrus with subtle pineapple, are dominant. Medium-low bitterness for the style.

12 oz can from Mills Liquor Store in Annapolis, MD The ale poured a clear gold with a white foamy head and lacing. The aroma of pale malts mixed with pine resin and tropical fruit greets you. The flavors were mostly tropical fruit and the hop mixture was not bitter and there was pineapple in the upper mouth. The ale has a medium body and average-soft carbonation.

I got a couple cans of this beer from a mixed 15pck that a bought from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy yellow with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had fresh citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with effervescent citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours clear orange-golden color with a small head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving a tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is he of a tropical fruit smell of tangerine, mango, and pineapple. Along with these smells comes a strong bready aroma as well as some aromas of an herbal and stone fruit nature.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready malt flavor mixed with the tropical fruits that were in the nose. Guava, passionfruit, and pineapple are mixed with some tangerine and a bit of nectarine. There is also a bit of an herbal and grapefruit hop, which both et slightly stronger as the taste advances. Toward the end of the taste comes some hay and bit of lemongrass and spice, rounding out the flavor profile.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation. For the style the feel is good and makes for an easy drinker.
Overall – An pretty decent tropical flavored IPA. Not overly sweet or hopped. Overall, rather easy drinking.

Aroma is fruit, malts, mild caramel and a small musty hint. The flavor is fruit, malts, slightly oily and a citrus/tropical hop/slightly sweet finish.

Pours a nice pale amber with a frothy white head.
Citrus, tropical fruit- mango and tangerine - with a nice floral aroma, in the nose.
Taste follows nose with nice slightly sweet malt backbone to hang it all on.

Came in a 15 can variety pack. It’s a pleasant golden pour with a short foamy head. Despite the name it’s not terribly bitter, but kind of fruity and unassertive.

Pretty good. Lots of head and lacing. Pretty dank. Is properly juicy with the citrus notes of a summertime IPA.

This is what's missing in modern IPA's.
Look - it's simple and I use look as an adjustment score so 4 here but you could move this around.
Nose - lacking in a good way. Just that simple citrus orange meets white pepper notes but subtle. It's awesome imo because it gives you easy summer drinking vibes and what's the point of this right? A tropical IPA. You can dig in and get some caramel malt. The fruits are complex and honestly beyond me, it's more than orange with white pepper. I just feel odd dropping that papya and other notes when that's really not my area. But I know this has those notes from other beers others have said that on.
Taste - It's light but you get a nice white spice mixed with good hops. Yeah I should add more here...It's just so refreshing at it's base. You instanly clear all flavors and get a rush of carbonation (we'll get into the feel) with a refreshing feeling....like you had the magic hydration. Then you get light flavors honestly but so good. Fruits and spice (super IPA appropriate) and a hint of yeast and touch of hop .
Feel - can we take this one to 10? The mix here is just epic! I want this every night after a long walk. It just is the perfect summer beer with some body and flavor. You almost never get that today...but this is epic.
Overall - There are more flavorful and bolder beers. There are those that go out of their way more. Bottom line, others are better. I get it. But for a summer drinker or an IPA with food? This is perfect. I'm giving this a 5.
