Served in a clear plastic solo cup at Southern Tier Outpost in Pittsburgh, PA.
A: Light amber hue with 1/2-finger of frothy off-white head with decent retention and some scraps of lacing.
S: Malty aroma of low-Lovibond caramel malt or Vienna with solid pale 2-row and a beautiful floral, grapefruit-orange citrus hop character with light floral esters.
T: The flavor delivers even better on the balanced interesting characterful maltiness with Vienna/Munich toastiness which is really well-balanced with the grapefruit-orange-lime citrus and floral hop qualities. Esters are light but supporting with floral presentation. Bitterness is low-medium.
M: Feel is light as you’d expect for a low-ABV summer ale/American golden ale but not insubstantial with high drinkability and a soft finish.
O: I was really impressed by this beer and want to learn more about their brewing process to try to replicate on the home system. Drinkable with character and body in a low-ABV (4%) package. Great job ST.
