Served in a plastic solo cup at Southern Tier Outpost in Pittsburgh, PA.
A: Hazy light yellow hue with 1/2-finger of foamy white head with average retention and skimpy lacing.
S: Aroma is light and mostly bland citrus and berry-like with a muddle, indistinct quality.
T: Flavor is disappointing - citrus and strawberry with some astringency and higher than expected alcohol presence. Bitterness is low-medium. Esters are low and fruity.
M: A relatively dry, light-bodied beer for the ABV but hard to look past the harsh, astringent hop bite.
O: Not a very well-executed beer with higher-than-desired alcohol presence and muddled hop character. Should have had another Day Drifter instead.
