Kind of a one-dimensional earthy punch in the mouth. Pine tones are there but they are not overly boisterous. The antithesis of this would be the heavy citrus so many people "pine" for. That's one point for pun. This is much more on the earthy side of things. Very smooth though. And quite consistent. Could be a bit more rounded and not so rustic. But for what it is, I enjoy it. Glad I went out of my way to try this one.

Pours a clean deep golden color. In the aroma, citrus and pine hops, with a sweet maltiness. In the flavor, citrus hops, more grapefruit, rye sweetness, and a nice maltiness. A nice hop bite and a medium to bigger bodied mouthfeel, with a citrus hop and malty aftertaste. I really enjoyed the rye presence in this beer, mixed well with the hop presence.

Served on tap at House of 1000 Beers > Tulip Glass
A - Pours a nice orange gold color, big two finger head, moderate lacing.
S - Orange candies, light toffee and biscuit malt, some medium floral hops.
T - Nice and dank compared to the floral in the aroma, sweet orange taste, almost like marmalade, but finishes dry.
M - Very balanced for the strong flavors goin on.
O - Solid and flavorful beer, and I'm glad to have snagged it, thanks ST for brewing this for us Yinzers
