Hazy yellow color with a thin head with short retention, but leaving behind some laces.
Predominant aroma of pineapples, honey and Argentinean Mate (southern America herbal leaves).
Hoppy flavor with notes of pine, slightly toasted malts, lots of mate, yeast, pineapple and spices. Dry aftertaste with a good bitterness and a long lasting herbal note.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
This is a unique refreshing, assertive and hoppy Session IPA. The Mate addition was a great match to the recipe. As others Argentinean IPAs is quite herbaceous, but still I found this more fun. Interestingly as it warms up it kind of remembered me of a hoppy Saison.
