Golden color with a huge three finger thick head with great retention and leaving some laces.
Slightly sour light aroma with notes of orange citrusy, dried hay and some herbal hops. No dry hop sensation; not a good sign.
Flavor with notes of dried hay, orange citrusy, herbal hops, soap and lots of chalked yeast. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
This does not taste like an APA at all. Quite yeasty and there is that annoying herbaceous Patagonia flavor (malt, hops or both?) predominating. It feels more like a Belgian Pale Ale. No grapefruit, passion fruit, pine or any tropical notes.
