Amber reddish color with a gigantic beige head with good retention.
Malty aroma with notes of caramel and toasted malts, grains and some earthy notes.
Flavor with notes of caramel and toasted malts, roasted grains, herbal and earthy hops and hay. Not Sweet. Dry aftertaste with a lingering bitter roasted note.
Firm medium body with good carbonation. Alcohol of 8% is reasonably felt but fits the beer.
Grainy and toasted Irish Red Ale with a nice bitterness, actually a bold version of the style. This is not boring at all. This is superior to their IPA and Pilsen, and it has part of the character of their Imperial Stout which is their crown jewel.
