Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a ruddy burnt yellow color with some transparency to it. Moderate carbonation was seen rising at a moderate pace. Quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Not much lace. The aroma had some pears/green apples, grassy hops, light funk, lingering sour, some citrus sour to tart, floral, bubblegum and ended with a little bit of earthiness. The flavor started with the blend of sour to funk to sweet and brought in a little bit of tart with the earthiness. Subdued aftertaste of leather, earth and funk. Finish was quick with the leather/earthiness, some funk and sour. The palate was almost medium bodied, seemed to sit just a touch under. More of a sipper to me. Carbonation was felt but wasn’t too prickly. ABV felt good. Overall, decent enough, but I think Fetish was going for a sour Belgian ale? Not sure, nice to try, unsure if I’d come back. Pours ligh translucent hay color. Smells sour hops and grape. Taste is same but more developed and complex. Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing. Very good and would definitely have again.
