Copenhagen 21/1 2021. 50 cl bottle from Høkeren, Ravnsborggade, Kbh. N. Yellow label in the Salamander brand style with two hands grasping each other. The version I am drinking has an ABV of 5,11.
Pours opaque, hazy yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a light citric scent. Sweet pale malts, peach and melon. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense and bit watery. Medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Easily drinkable and smooth APA. A bit on the sweet side.
