Copenhagen 10/11 2018. 33 cl bottle from Ninkasira Bottleshop, Cph N. Yellow label with black Salamander. Pretty cool design.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with big white head. Settles as 2 cm thick dense layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sweet yet citric and fruity. A little candy-like at first. Tangerine, citrus and melon. The malt base enters the scene as the beer warms up. Gives a good balance between the sweet malts ad the fruity hops.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lightly prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Semi-dry finish.
Not a bad beer. But if this should be considered to be a DIPA I miss some power and intensity.

330ml bottle, pasteurised & unfiltered. Very cloudy, orange/gold with a thin head that reduces to a ring. Clean citrus & sweet berries aroma. Tropical fruit, resin, light yeast and wheat flavours. Clean & fresh despite hint of alcohol. Medium body, no carbonation with a slick mouthfeel and dry finish. Super-refreshing AIPA. Juicy & hoppy with an affirming mouthfeel but only moderate bitter. Not sufficiently robust to really classify as a DIPA.
