Copenhagen 11/2 2026. 50 cl bottle from A Good Case web-shop. Dark green label with a black silhouette of a sheep with yellow doodles on it.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of roasted dark malts mingling with a citric scent. Caramel and roasted bread. Biscuits. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick. oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Nicely balanced Black IPA.
