Explore volcano is a dessert stout with an insane-looking purple foam. The malt base is based on basic, caramel, chocolate and roasted malts. The dessert sweetness comes from the malts and fruits that have been added here. A huge amount of berries perfectly harmonizes with the chocolate character.

Copenhagen 7/2 2026. 33 cl bottle from a A Good Case web-shop. Purple label with an exploding chocolate volcano. Looks pretty messy.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, almost invisible rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing,
Aroma is intense with a sweet sugary and malty odor mingling with both sweet and tart berries. Sweet dark alcohol lurking just beneath. Brown sugar, raisins and toffee. Marzipan. Blue berries and currants.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, creamy and a little sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart with a notable sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a touch of sweet alcohol.
Sweet boozer with a nice tart berry twist.
