One of the deepest black colors I have ever seen, with a proportionally dark thick head with decent retention (especially for the style) and leaving some laces.
Nice earthy aroma with notes of licorice, dark chocolate, coffee, mild pine and some charcoal.
Strong roasted and burnt flavor with notes of earthy and herbal hops, coffee powder, charcoal, spices, licorice, charred wood, lots of dark and blue fruits and smoke. Dry aftertaste with a long lasting roasted feeling.
Full creamy body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 10% is well hidden among its roasted intensity.
This is sure a bold RIS with its own character; this is not for the faint hearted. Bordering the limit of roasted and burnt notes. They got my attention.
