One day while lying in the sun, Ferdinand – the peaceful, flower-loving bull – was stung by a bee and so began snorting and charging about in pain. Mistaken for a raging beast, he was taken away to fight in the bullring. The ensuing spectacle was a disappointment to all but a lesson all the same…it’s best NOT to make assumptions based on appearances! Or on beer styles for that matter… something to mull over as you enjoy the complex, malty yet crisp, Ferdinand Vienna Style LAGER!
BREWERS NOTES
Ferdinand is a classic Vienna style lager brewed with continental European malt and hop varieties. The Vienna and Munich malts bring a complex and delicate toasty malt flavour and aroma and the Tettnanger hops lend an almost spicy aroma. This is a very traditional regional style lager that is balanced, crisp and complex.

S-hints of sweet & spicy malts
T-clean & crisp start , decent malt base , with a hint of spice on the swallow
