August 23rd, 2015 - Walking into Wavelength always feels like a bit of a brewery type experience, and a bit of a Space Camp experience. I delight at the telescopes and space feeds on the televisions, but the beer is solid, too. Today's Ad Astra is plum colored with a chilly haze, and a sweet cherry pie scent. Heavy up front, it has a light bitterness like pretzel dough and the deep sweetness of overripe cherries, sherry and a dryness in the finish.
