The colour is deep yellow; the airy white head is two fingers high. Some lacing occurs.

The smell is the expected one: Semi-sweet malt, bread, alcohol and marzipan.

The taste is … weak. Why are people making strong beers that don’t make use of the potential of a full-flavoured brew? I don’t get it. There are however some notes of raisins, marzipan, toasted bread and, of course, lots of alcohol. The aftertaste got some fruity-malty notes with some bitter notes here and there.

The carbonation is average for a strong euro lager. Medium sized bubbles.

The strong presence of alcohol in the beer makes it tiresome to drink. No, I didn’t get this one either. “Well, you get drunk faster” some might say…
