Crowler from the brewery - about 5 days old when consumed.
Amber hue with healthy light beige bed and decent lacing.
Aroma is hoppy with C-hops in an old school, east cost ipa way. Medium caramel maltiness, not really in keeping with today’s ipas, but I get that they are trying to build more body in a lowish abv beer.
Flavor is even maltier with lots of moderate intensity caramel flavor which reduced hop punch, which is mostly orange, grapefruit, and pine. Medium bitterness.
Feel is slightly tacky and medium bodied with medium-high carbonation.
Not what I would be looking for in an ipa although appreciate the low abv take.
