On tap at the brewery taproom in Johnson City. This mocha stout has been aged in Jameson Irish Whisky barrels.
Pours with a dark black-brown body with ruby edges and a weak head.
Appealing aroma with chocolate, raspberry and Irish whiskey.
The flavor largely follows but with the whisky and other barrel aging influences more apparent. It provides a clear impression of dark chocolate raspberry although the brew is more bitter than sweet.
Feel: Medium-full body and light carbonation.
Overall: recommended.
