L- Pours a hazy copper-orange topped my a massive 3 finger head with incredible retention. I literally waited several minutes for the head to die down to a reasonable level so I could begin tasting. Head leaves behind thick patches of lacing.
S- Distinct aroma of Lemon and Papaya with a slight spiciness.
T- A huge punch (excessive really) of caramel malt and lemon/papaya/spiciness from the hops gets things rolling. Finish is a very bitter leafy/earthiness.
F- Light-Medium Body and moderate carbonation. Dry finish.
O- BIIR Equinox is a very flavourful beer but for me, it is way too bitter to be enjoyable. The beer has a world class appearance, aroma and flavour is also great, but I just can't get past the bracingly bitter finish. I'm leaving the high rating as the beer is excellent, just be wary that this is indeed a TRIPLE IPA, so expect a hop slap.

'UGE head of foam that leaves nice lacing. It tastes like a belgian IPA with added hops and while the bottle boasts 100 IBUS I wonder what method they used for hopping the beer, since the taste is much more balanced out with sweet malts. The beer has a quite crisp finish after the complex flavor beginning. The 9.7% ABU is hidden quite well and once I waited the several minutes for the head to die down I almost finished it immediately. Definitely doesn't taste like a "Triple" west coast IPA but packs the same punch.

If I wait for the head to die down, this review will be completed in 2018.
So then, overactive foamy head notwithstanding, this is a very tasty brew.
Combine a light Belgian ale and an aggressively hopped IPA, and you get this.
The hops provide balance to the sweetness and leave a dry crisp aftertaste.

From day 10 of the 2016 Craft BeerAdvent calendar
Didn't have time for a longer appreciation of this one.
A very pleasant orangeish brown head. Hazy cooper colour
A ready malt with a floral backdrop.
An enjoyable IPA

330ml bottle, day 10 of the 2016 Craft BeerAdvent calendar - this one seems to have sort of obfuscated ownership issues on the label, or maybe I just can't read the tiny-ass print.
This beer pours a hazy, medium copper amber colour, with a voluminous tower of puffy, finely foamy, and creamy ecru head, which leaves some decent broken web lace around the glass as it very lazily recedes.
It smells of big orange and white grapefruit flesh, bready caramel melt, some gooey toffee sweetness, further muddled tropical fruit, a musty yeastiness, and some lesser piney, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery caramel malt, mixed domestic citrus and exotic tropical fruit (pineapple and grapefruit, mostly), subtle earthy yeast, and more leafy, piney, and gently perfumed floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is rather active in its poking and tingly frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and sort of smooth, as both the yeast and the hops take a stab at messing things up right here. It finishes actually quite dry, the sugary essence having fallen out the bottom of the initially saccharine malt.
Overall, this comes across more like a Belgian IPA (it was made there), than anything particularly Californian, although the robust hoppiness (both green and fruity) is reminiscent of some West Coast offerings, I suppose. At any rate, an interesting brew, and nice and warming for a day where the deep freeze is causing the mercury to consider seeking alternate employment.

If it wasn't so dry I'd say it's more of a barley wine.
Really bubbly, lots of head, great lace.
Decent hop aroma, though I expected a bit more.
Quite dry and bitter, could use more late/dry hop additions.

33cl bottle. Hazy orange pour with a very tall beige head with decent retention. Smells like overripe/fermented tropical fruit, a bit of mould, grapefruit, pineapple. The taste follows the same notes, with an addition of floral and perfumey notes, probably from the Equinox hops. An interesting beer.
