Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, green session. Black color, dark brown, creamy head. Aroma has dark, roasted malts with a light smoky note. Taste is roasty with bitter malt, even a bit of acidic roastiness. Quite easy drinking.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Copenhagen really is a treat for beer lovers...
Pours jet black, with very little head.
Big nose on this, all about coffee and chocolate, wth a splash of vanilla.
The taste ups the ante on the chocolate, and tones down the vanilla. Also adds just a hint of soy sauce.
Mouthfeel is excellent, thick and creamy.
Overall, a great first beer from Abnormal, makes me even more stoked to visit them.

This is the perfect beer representation of a liquid chocolate candy bar. Basically its the M2 base with a mega load of chocolate added in. Not overly sweet, the full body really ties everything together into a decadent brew.
