16 oz. can. Red. I like the simple red aesthetic. Purchased in CA, drunk in MN while watching a World Series game of two detestable teams (Dodgers vs. Red Sox).
The pour is a dull orange juice with a couple shots of water. Smells like tropical fruits, & since this is the 9,000th NE IPA I’ve had in the last week, I’m too shell-shocked to try to tease out which fruits. Jeesus, just spike me with CA hops.
Burton Haze is as interesting as watching a New Order concert, which is almost as interesting as watching your irritating neighbor rake leaves. There’s the standard fruitiness (mango, pineapple) but muted, canker-sore sweetness, & dead, but not buried, yeast. Way too sweet. Half the can went to my wife, who apparently likes it more than this ink-stained wretch.
This is bullshit. Too many breweries out there apparently think that where there’s haze, there’s fire. Just because you can’t see through an IPA/Pale doesn’t make it great. This is way too sweet, missing any kind of hop fire, & just generally sloppy. Not a good beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
