Almost totally black with little beige foam. Very greedy and intense aroma, toffee, vanilla, cocoa, vanilla, bourbon. Taste that reflects the sensations perceived on the nose, greedy and decadent Stout very sweet. Cocoa, toffee, vanilla, cinnamon, nuts, very light bitterness on the finish before the very long trail of bourbon that tries to dilute so much sweetness. Massive and velvety body, low carbonation. ABV threatening but very elegant.

Burnt motor oil black with a dark mocha head that audibly fizzles out almost instantly.
M5 is a total cinnamon roll with hints of red hots. A silky smooth medium body delivers a little nutty chocolatey roast as a sharp woody bitter bite amptly balances before the semi-dry finish that also comes with a little booze. The exhale brings a vanilla, almost oaky rum character, including some nougat as it warms. At the same time, the aroma has more of that wonderful mocha roast.
It's a lil spicy and a lil boozy. But pretty pretty dang good.

Adjuncts smell bright and fresh. Lots of cinnamon & pecan, less coffee & Vanilla.
Mouthfeel is typical Abnormal greatness. Full and creamy, tight carbonation coats your mouth.
The flavors don’t seem to agree in the way they were intended to. I get lots of cinnamon, a little cinnamon, and some residual cinnamon. That’s about all. Unless I received a reject bottle that was brewed AFTER the cinnamon was added but BEFORE everything else, I think the adjuncts did not manage to balance.
So with all the cinnamon going on in my glass, I can’t help but wish I’d have just gotten a standard adjunct-free stout instead, because the base is so solid.
