Think you can step to up to the Young Gunna?! Its mighty and fierce but will lovingly bear hug your soul with its warming and sweet high-ABV finish. Tons of hops added at every stage of the brewing process unload on you like no other lending way to classic citrus and pine, followed by tropical fruits and dankness. To amplify all these hops, we add a last-minute burst of whole leaf hops on the way to the packaging tank leaving out all the filtering aids and fining agents so we can preserve all that lupulin greatness, and then package 2 days later for maximum freshness. The result is an easy drinking 10.5% IIIPA with bright hops, mild malt character, creamy mouthfeel, and a tight lingering bitterness. Designed to be released around the same time as another infamous Triple IPA that marks the start of “Big IPA Season” every February.

This is that excellent triple IPA. Unfiltered but doesn’t look like it tons of bubbles when you pour it. As a dangerously smooth for a 10.5% beer. Abnormal is knocking it out of the park right now.

Single can from PB Express Market in Pacific Beach area in San Diego (PB...).
Pours a uniform bright hazy golden orange with finger of slightly irregular bubbly white head.
Piney hop burst from the can on the nose, with orange, mango, tropical slightly floral aromas in the glass, that twist to dank notes as warms.
Taste is juicy bitter pine, strong hop presence - caramel malt sweetness, mango, grapefruit pith, orange, but a resinous bitterness coats the palate.
Medium full mouthfeel - the bitterness lingers briefly - decent though fading carbonation - smooth and another very drinkable TIPA sneakily hiding 10.5% ABV.
