Last year we made a series of pie inspired kettle sours. We had so much fun with those that we decided to throw an additional pie in the mix. We landed on
a classic, Pecan Pie

In true Abnormal fashion, we decided the addition of maple syrup would be just what
this beer needed.

Take a culinary journey through buttery pie crust, sweet molasses, savory pecans, cinnamon spice, vanilla whip, finished with
a maple drizzle.

Open for this Pi Day or properly store for a future one.

Medium black pour, wispy collar. Smell is just incredible: huge maple, lighter molasses, pecans, vanilla, slight dark chocolate, and aromatic cinnamon to finish. Taste is more baked together and not as potent: maple covers layers of cinnamon biscuit, molasses, and malt, still a great dessert. Feel is light for style, hides the abv perfectly, and isn't overwhelmingly sweet either, good balance. The wife liked it
