Acquired as part of Kilowatt's bi-monthly bottle club. Came in an unmarked, plain dark brown 22oz. bottle with an attached slip of paper noting style and details. Pours a not-quite-black, dark brown with very little head. You get a good whiff of the barrel when you smell, laced with pops of vanilla.
This imperial stout clock in at 8.9% and is one of the smoothest Kilowatt beers Ive ever had. Not overly rich or roasty and zero bitterness. Smooth, dark, heavy and highly enjoyable. Ill seek this out again in the future.
