Not bad at all. It comes across a little bitey to me for a BA beer and feels like it couldve used another few months in wood to help mellow it down a little. You do get the barrel flavor mixed with coffee and chocolate and maybe it was just my bottle but I feel like it needed a wee bit more time to calm. I will say, I liked this beer better after it sits for about 10 minutes. Overall, good stuff and worth trying.

On draft at the Ocean Beach location
Jet black, opaque, tan head that fades. Big coffee and chocolate and boozy aroma. Taste shows the barrel aging. A bit hot on the bourbon flavor. Medium bodied.
